Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect information from visitors to this site.

Effective May 2, 2026

Bankruptcy Recovery Group ("BRG," "we," "us," or "our") respects the privacy of visitors to this website. This Privacy Policy describes the categories of information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

We collect two types of information:

  • Information you provide. When you contact us through forms, email, or telephone, we collect the information you choose to share — typically your name, firm or affiliation, contact information, and a description of the matter.
  • Information collected automatically. When you visit this site, our analytics providers automatically collect technical information including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate geographic location. With your consent, we also use cookies to recognize returning visitors and to identify the firm or organization associated with a visit.

2. Cookies and tracking

This site uses two analytics services:

  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — aggregate, cookie-free analytics provided by our hosting platform. These services do not place cookies, do not identify individuals, and do not require consent.
  • HubSpot — visitor analytics and customer relationship management. HubSpot places cookies in your browser (with your consent) that allow us to recognize returning visitors and, where possible, identify the firm or organization associated with a visit.
  • Google Analytics 4 — aggregate traffic and engagement analytics provided by Google. Google Analytics places cookies in your browser (with your consent) used to measure pageviews, sessions, traffic sources, and on-site behavior. We have not enabled Google Signals, demographic reporting, or advertising-feature integrations.

You can accept or decline analytics cookies through the cookie banner displayed on your first visit. Declining will not affect your ability to use this site. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's cookies and storage from your browser, which will cause the cookie banner to reappear on your next visit.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and provide the legal services you request;
  • Understand which content visitors find useful and improve the site accordingly;
  • Identify firms and organizations that may benefit from our services and follow up appropriately;
  • Maintain records required by professional responsibility rules and applicable law;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents or unlawful activity.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only with:

  • Service providers — Vercel (hosting and analytics), HubSpot (analytics and CRM), and Google (Google Analytics 4), each subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations;
  • Co-counsel and consultants — when retained on a specific matter and bound by professional confidentiality obligations;
  • Legal authorities — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights or those of others.

5. Confidentiality and the attorney-client relationship

Submitting information through this site does not create an attorney-client relationship. Until conflicts have been cleared and an engagement letter has been signed, you should not send confidential or sensitive case information through this site.

6. Data retention

We retain inquiry information and engagement records for the period required by applicable rules of professional conduct, recordkeeping laws, and our internal policies. Analytics data is retained according to the retention policies of our service providers (typically 12 to 26 months for HubSpot; 12 months for Vercel Analytics on our current plan).

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of certain processing. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Nevada, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have these rights under their respective statutes.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@brg.legal. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

8. Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we hold. No system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that information transmitted over the internet is invulnerable.

9. Children

This site is intended for legal and professional audiences and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
